No Problems mix and match Futaba Hitec servos at will, but be aware that Futaba servos operate in the reverse direction to almost all other brands. This is very handy if using two elevator or flap servos and one needs to be reversed on a Y lead. (Use a Futaba and a Hitec of similar torque and speed.)
The servo horns have different spline counts and can not be swapped between Futaba &Hitec.

Yes absolutely and the conversion type of the receiver makes no difference to the servos.

Most of the later Hitec 72Mhz PPM Rx's were Autoshift, so they would work with Futaba or JR. There were earlier model Rx's that were specifically designed for use with only one mfg. A Hitec PCM Rx will only work with a Hitec PCM Tx.

As in post #5, Futaba &Hitec are fully compatible except their PCM/QPCM receivers are proprietary and cannot be interchanged. [Some early Hitec receivers were marked positive shift for use with JR & Sanwa(aka Airtronics) TX on 72Mhz & 75Mhz, all other frequencies being negative shift)
Be sure same brand of crystal as the unit it is plugged into is being used.
For further information, refer to Crystal compatibility between brands
