Ok Folks, I'm Totally Stumped. Any Help Is Appreciated.....
I'm going nuts trying to figure this out.
I use two servos for the elevator on my plane. Each servo operates one half of the elevator.
The servos are operated by the same channel, using a servo-reversing Y-harness. (For those of you unfamiliar with these nifty little $10.00 devices, they simply make one of the two servos travel in the opposite direction.)
Both servos are in comparatively the same position relative to the elevator half they control, and both servo horns are the same length, and both clevises are attached to the same hole on the control horn on the elevator. For some reason, the elevator half that is attached to the reversing leg of the Y-harness moves more slowly than the servo attached to the non-reversing leg. Why is this? Is this something to be expected when using these devices? I bought two different reversing Y-harnesses, and BOTH of them cause this problem.
Other than flipping one of the servos over, what can I do to get both elevator halves to move at the same rate?? I'm using JR 535 servos, FYI.

I can't speak for the reversers as I have no experience with them. Is it possible to just use the other "half" of the servo disc/arm? That way you won't have to flip the servo around.

The Y harness I've used with reversing feature, had a trimming pot, under the shrink tubing........adjusting the pot controlled the speed of the servo.

I haven't had very good experience with these reversers, mainly for similar reasons as you are having problems with.
In my opinion, the simpler your hookup, the better, so why not reverse the servo itself.
The reverser is just another electronic gadget that can fail on you.
You need to be semi-handy with a soldering iron.
Open the servo and unsolder the wires on the potentiometer and the motor and solder them back on reversed.
Short of this, I'd use a Y pushrod and a bit bigger servo.

It may just be your servo, try another servo. What brand of servo are you using? Some center and move more equally than others.

I have not had very good luck with the reversers, as was said it's another failure point. Reverse the servo or do it at the radio, alot less headaches.

Use a different brand servo
What I did on the last two servo elevator plane I had was to use a futaba servo on one side and a Jr on the other and they moved perfectly together.
Some brand are positive pulse and others negative pulse.

Depending on the type of airplane you are building, perhaps just putting a wire between the two elevator halves would be a easy solution. Then use only one servo.

I would definitely go with simplicity. Remember old K.I.S.S. principle?
From this prospective I second LoboFlyer – use opposite sides of the servos and connect them using regular Y harness.
