Congrats to all who make WOD such a great event.
. I and others make this a high priority every year.
Dave and Pete and all the great club members, thank you.
The Tidewater RC (flytrc.com) ghost squadron had a great time with 8 pilots and 2 first time observers making the trip up from Chesapeake/ VA Beach area. I if we count Stuka Berry, our adopted warbird brother, we had 9 pilots and 23 warbirds scattered about.
Best year ever for me: flew 13 flights on Nieuport N-28, Fokker D-VII, Top Flight P-51. Steve P. and Stuka Berry helped my get my Pica Spit flying just right after a two year break with 3 more flights. WW-1 gaggle on Fri/Sat was great fun!
As always great people from all over America. Fantastic airplanes and great fliers. We will be back next year for sure!

Super event and major thanks to all who made it possible! I made 3 short videos now on you tube. Just search my user name azzir325 or check the flikr feed for the links.
BTW, just a shot in the dark, my Great Planes Dr1 dropped a wheel in the woods across from the flight stations. If any one wandering about out there comes across it, I'd sure like it back. I didn't realize at the time but those wheels are special. Nearly 6 inches in diameter but they weigh only 3 ounces! The closest I can find available are the Dubro 1/5th scale at 5.6 inches, but they weigh 4.5 ounces each, not to mention they are pricey. Thanks!

You know, I will never get sick of seeing Mac and his crew with their big B29 put on a show. One heck of a crew to pull it off every show like they do!

Just thought I'd let you know that we've made a few improvements to how we post info about WOD online. First, we've set up warbirdsoverdelaware.com and pointed it at the familiar page on delawarerc.org. This is just to make it easier for everyone to find and remember the addres to go to for official info on dates, times, registration, etc.
We've also set up a Facebook page -facebook.com/warbirdsoverdelaware. This won't replace RCU at all. Instead, it will provide us with a way to folks who aren't RC enthusiasts yet, but would be interested in coming and watching the show - our adoring spectators. If you'd like to join us there as well, great! We've got a number of photos and videos from 2010 through this year.
We're also still on Flickr and YouTube.
