RE: Warbirds Over Delaware 2012
Thanks for the photos and videos!
So how bad is the rain effecting things today? I'm contemplating driving up this morning. I see the weather prediction dropped from 50% chance of rain to 40%.
Thanks!
Paul

The event was super, over 90%of the people said it could not have been better! ...sure we had a lot of people that had a pproblem with parking, vendor tent set up,flight line problems, not able to dish out food fast enough, wrong beer,we do not give lip service,we do think about about all of it,sometimes we cant make all 100% of the people happy. Fixing some of the problems can be done with $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$444444

As others have already said, great job done by Dave, Pete, and the yellow shirt crew. If anyone is complaining then they have no idea how much work is required to run an event like this. The guys from the Woodstock RC Flyers, CT had a great time and will be back in larger numbers next year.

It was my first year at WOD and i was very impressed with how it was run.
The ONLY thing I would have liked, would of been more distance between the pilot stations. I felt "cramped" and could hardly see my airplane when taxiing out even when leaning forward over the fence. And it was difficult hearing and understanding my spotter when you could hear everyone elses spotter and all the noise from the airplanes flying and starting up as well.
Otherwise, a great event and will definitely be coming in 2013!

WOW ! What a great place and a great event. Very relaxed and fun. Great people there too! Thanks to all the guys that make it happen. Especially the Malchione's that made us feel right at home.
We had a great time. We were the last ones to leave on Sunday. I flew the Skyrader, FW 190 and the Provost until 7 pm on Sunday. Perfect Day. !
Dave; we actually found a A-26 Invader in the Dover museum and had the museum for ourselves ! Spectacular. They even let us park right next to the INVADER.
Hope to see you next year. We will probably bring the new Invader Ready !
Keep them flying !
Frankie & Ricardo Mirandes.

Well we have been running the event for 13 years...we had the stations far apart and close together. This is what the majority of the pilots liked, the close stations added safety to communicate with the other pilots and ground staff during critical flight situations.

Invertmast, I have really enjoyed your U-Tube building videos, sorry not to have met up in person.
I actually like the flight line spacing, we often flew 3-4 guys together in "formation" and it was helpful being able to talk to each other, call out low passes or breaks or landings. I agree that at times it's a bit crowded but it's a trade-off and I'd keep as is. A few of the yellow shirt helpers put signs or themselves in the wrong place from time to time but they are volunteers making a time for me to fly so you have to allow for that.
How soon til WOD 2013 again?
