Default Waco motor???
For you Great planes Waco owner..what motor are you using..
I am considering a DLE 20 or a 4 stroke..
What are results have you had?

I've got a dle 30 in mine and to be honest it's over powered. I think the 20 would be fine.

Any 120 sized four stroke would be perfect... I have a Laser 120 in a Pica Waco ( same 1:6 scale) and its just right for this bird not overpowering .

Welcome, with the 30 it has a two foot take off roll and unlimited vertical. But it did balance perfectly with it, so you may have to keep things forward with the 20.

So have you tried the dle 20 yet in the Waco? Thinking of doing that myself, how did it go?

Hi, planning to install a Saito fG-20 on my new gp waco. i think it would be underpower. Does any one have flown it with the FG20???
