Here is some one's ideal of a layout
Here is some one's ideal of a layout
The retrieve boats will be to the right of the stand about 5 feet or so. Your picture has them in front of the CD box, they can be to the right. Luckily there was plenty of room to make the stand longer. I have an idea to make the CD box about 9 feet deep. The new area for drivers will still only be 6 feet deep. This will entail 2 more 6x6 posts and put part of the CD box over the entry for the stairs going up. Watching the west winds this weekend, I want a larger foot print for the CD box. Since it will be all walled in, there will be added forces to tip the stand. A 9 foot deep foot print will help a lot for handling the high winds.
Edit: Your drawing of the stairs is a little different than what I planned. I'll try to draw somthing up and scan to post like you did. Thanks. I'm just placing the stairs where it takes up the least amount of room and flows reasonably well. A stairs going up to 10 feet can take up a lot of room...

this is a pre production V-BOX I am building for Joe to take to TOLEDO EXPO, the WRAMS show and other shows.. to display.. also building him a JAE.45 Twin,a JAE.45,and an A-BOX for display purposes...!!The V-BOX was even easier to build than the A-BOX!!!! like the idea of a kit coming with it's own jig too.... This kit will be availiable soon probably. Thanks for the compliment!!
