3-4 months! I don't think so.... I ordered in March and I still don't think he has started it. As long as he takes his time on the paint I am in no hurry.

Make sure to send him an email from time to time to check the progress on your plane or he might just forget about yours and keep finishing everyone else's.

TSHARK203, Long time no posts. How is everyone doing? Hey can you all tell me how much down elevator mix to put in at half and full flaps? Want to make my maiden as smooth as possible but it still will not be till may before I am ready. Thanks, Steve Mullis

Hey Steve
How have you been. Any new pics of your plane. I dont use any mix. No need for it. Not sure about any one else but I am a no mix kind of guy. I just fly it. You dont see any pitch changes when adding the flaps in. Plus mine deploy slowly about 5 sec travel time. To tell you the truth I dont even mix my jets I just use tbe elevator to compensate.
I am about to send my wheels and landing gear off to Marc in the UK to have electric brakes made for her.

TSHARK203, Thanks George. Your help is sure appreciated. Yea I have been looking for brakes also and they sure are hard to find. Especially elect brakes. How long will it take for them to set up the brakes and what will the cost be?
You can use a PM to tell me. I found something on hobby partz that might work. They are mechanical with with drum brakes. 70mm and there cheap for a pair and look like they will fit the sullivan hub. I checked the LADO site and
they have a nice set but have no release date or the system as of yet, also elect. I checked my bank account today and Aircraft International and Beila has finally charged me for my prop. So I should get it this week sometime.
I will take some photos after I put on the prop so you can see my custom exhaust I made out of my 3W mufflers and some flex hose and some mtw headers. Came out pretty nice right out of the cowl flaps with the curve of the
headers sticking down and out about and inch or so. Yes I have a servo speed adjustment on my transmitter and I can slow down my flaps also which will make a more scale appearance. I am getting more excited about this plane
everytime I work on her.Man I also have been looking for pilots and found one but for $400.00. I am gonna try and find me a HOWDY DOODY and Uncle Bob dolls and put them in there. LOL!!! See Ya, Steve

hi Steve, i have flown my Cessna a couple of times now and i agree with George that you don't need to mix any down trim for take-off or landing flaps position. as regards the brakes, i use the Bertolani air brakes system from Italy. i found them very good, i need them because our clubs air strip has wall at the end of it, so i need to stop it very quickly after landing. i have attached a youtube with one of the flights for you to see.

Spidernad,Tshark, Mario, Or someone, I have a funny question on my 35%TMMY Cessna 182. The hardware is pretty straight forward but I have a couple shafts here that have me puzzled. They are 4" long the dia is 8mm and they have a hole drilled in one end of the shaft.
Did you guys get some of these and where do they go? I think they are from another plane design and were put in my kit by mistake. I have no clue! I don't see anything in the manual that even resembles these bolts or shafts.
Thanks fellows, Steve Mullis

Hey Steve if you have an extra set of the axels there I could use them for another project. I will gladly take them off your hands.

Tshark, Man O Man. I guess I should have looked at the axles already in my plane before I jumped the gun on now that stupid question. LOL Well if you don't think I will need them sure you can have them. Just how easy are they to bend? Just send me a pm with your address and I will get them to you next week. How's that sound? I was gonna ask another question though. How long is your wingtube? Mine is only 33" long. Heck I got 3D Planes with longer tubes than that. I have not seen how deep they go into the wing yet. I will check it sat. Anyway I will just upload a few pic of the plane. I only have a few. Notice the exhaust though. I think it looks pretty scale looking. I cut down the stingers on my stock 3W Mufflers and used high temp 45 deg hose. I then had some old used 70mm drop headers cut the flange off and the curve of the pipes came out the cowl flaps. What do you think? Thanks for gettin back with me. Steve Mullis

Hi Guys, i have just upgraded my Cessna with a PowerBox competition SRS system because it is a must over here. all models weighting over 20Kg must have a dual redundancy system on board so that one can obtain an exemption from the civil aviation department to be able to fly the model.

regards

Martin.

Yes, it's balsa. There should not be empty space in there.
They should really do a better job in this area. Their quality has always been a little low, seems to be getting worse.
It will still work, but I would recommend to fill excessive empty spaces with scrap balsa and epoxy or other glue to make a stronger foundation for your hinge pins.
