Cessna engineering drawings for the Bobcat (all versions) are available on microfilm from the National Air and Space Museum's Archives Division at $300.00 for the 10-roll set.

I'm definitely interested, but like the federal budget, my discretionary income has temporarily been sequestered to pay for other things!

No expiration date, as far as I know. There is a 41-page drawing index also available for $12.30. Shipping for the 10-roll microfilm set is another $15.00

.....Just for your evening intertainment I would like to recap some fine photos of Ed Couche's T-50 in flight......from page 27 and 28........I refer back to these pic's from time to time to help keep me motavated...............Ed, how did your camera man capture the great shot of the Bobcat inverted passing thru what looks like a column of smoke?......that's my favorite.......I plan to take that on to the copy center and have it enlarged and framed..........

Most libraries have microfilm viewers that allow you to print, but the copies are usually only letter-size. Kinko's may be able to print directly from film, but I'll have to investigate further.

RE: Don Smith Cessna T-50
I might be interest in a piece of the action if the quality is good. When you say "rolls" I assume they are the std 35mm microfilm rolls and not microfish ?? and were taken from an original set of drawings they have there ??. I wonder if they would give you a "sample" of the quality before the sale?? I have a 35mm film scanner which would work fine for std paper landscape prints but if you want to print full size production plans (36x28 and up) that would require very high quality high res film scanner and plotter printer. I have looked at a lot of std acrhive quality microfilm and most of it is for "reference" and not really for high res reproduction of originals. That said it would be good enough if you wanted to use it as a "template" in your cad drawing program.

They are 35mm rolls. Samples are not avaialble, but individual rolls can be ordered. The most economical route would probably be to order the index first, then use it as a guide to order individual rolls as necessary. I will order the index, and then can make copies available to anyone interested.

Lunch sounds good; how about Kincaid's hamburgers in Arlington? Kincaid's makes the best burgers in the Metroplex, and maybe all of Texas!

Joe.........here is the shaft extension that I am using for my particular application...........since you are also employing the OS-160, the requirements will be the same except for the length...........the photo will give you some idea of your own requirements .......
