Ok guys, time for me to step in here again. Please leave the personal attacks on each other out of thread. I don't know what those that are doing this are going to accomplish by attacking each other in this thread, but I can tell you what is going to happen. Those that want to do this in thread are going to wind up being put on a time out. You're not going to get this thread shut down, so I ask that you simply stop.
Let's keep the discussion on topic and leave the silly little attacks on each other out of the thread.

I think this topic put a major damper on fej sales in more countries than just the USA.
And, fej just put the nails in their own coffin with their blatant disregard of their defects, their attept to sweep this under the rug by offering a bribe to dubd, and then sending him an email in which they tell him they will do nothing. No one would want to deal with a company like that! They are going to be holding on to their current inventory for a long time. Maybe they should send their child labor force hone for the rest of the year.
In my mind, fej will never be able to recover, no matter what they do. It's too late now. I'd never buy from them. Their attitude sucks.
But I would stand in front of their booth all day at the next jet rally wearing a shirt that reads, "FEJ Sucks! Their jets crash due to poor engineering."
The below picture will represent what they just did to their future.

I to have changed my Avatar to show my support for a complete stranger, but whom I have the greatest respect for. (Seen and followed his posts here in RCU).
I have 2 FEJ models that I have had for a few years. Their Rafael and the AT-3... Now I'm nervous about finishing and flying them till I have a chance to go over them with an ultra fine toothed comb!
I don't think they'll be getting any more of my hard earned money!

Sluggo,
Thanks for hitting up your buddies for their input. I would LOVE it if you got their permission to identify them because as good as their input is, some would consider such input as hearsay without a by-line.

Permission secured:
Dr. Rob Niewoehner, David F. Rogers Professor of Aeronautics, US Naval Academy (flight dynamicist and flutter test pilot for Super Hornet's development).
As a point of interest, Rob completed his undergrad degree in his junior year at Annapolis, then got his masters attending Johns Hopkins during his senior year. Rob flew on my wing when he reported to VF-84. After completing his tour with the "Jolly Rogers, he went on to Navy TPS, got his doctorate, worked with the Super Hornet program, then went to USNA as a Permanent Military Professor and chaired the Aero Department. He is now retired from the Navy and is a full time faculty member at Annapolis.

Sluggo,
Like we are to believe your pals Rob and David actually knows more about aerodynamics and flutter than the girl at FEJ, who makes .50 cents an hour CAD designing R/C jets from magazine photos. Are you serious? Like...how gullible do you think we are??? LOL
Good stuff Mate!

I am eagerly waiting for Skymaster F14 to come out. Anton and LiKai know what they are doing and have integrity in the build process and are faces we can see, engineers that we can speak to at events and people that stand behind their products.
I imagine Skymaster will profit greatly from this. Good for them, they EARNED it.

RE: Fly Eagle Jet F-14 Crash (video)
Hi RC Pete .. Can you tell me what happened to that Hawk . I just got into jets and thought the FEJ Hawk would be ok especially after Ali flew and commented on his experiences . After my purchase a fellow Canadian flew the same airplane and the stabilizer flew off in level flight. My airplane is also honeycomb and I must say I am a little gun shy right now. This F14 has me really scared to fly it after spending all winter getting it ready....

Dantley,
Yes, it is, and I will express my thanks! I made it clear to Rob that I wasn't trying to pressure him, but he was ok with it.
Sluggo
P.S. Put me down for a XL. I'll try and show up at TopGun, if for no other reason than to wear the shirt in solidarity!

That's really nice of them to allow for their names to be used.
