have a look at the ML Boatworks hull as well if you are up for a build as that is also from the States. Purpose built or designed will always be easier, but, where theres a will theres a way. Plenty of guys on here will be able to help you with info or suggestions.
Cheers,
Dion.

RE: GAS F1 INBOARD TUNNEL HULLS
Just picked up this 1/4 tunnel hull yesterday off Craigslist. Got it cheap. It's a mystery who built it kind of thing. Guy I got it from said a guy with his own molds built it in Florida. It's 49" long with a 17" beam. Top cover is gel coated in red metal flake. Thinking of going inboard on this one as their looks to be plenty of room in hull and top cover. What do y'all think and does anyone know who built it?

Hi guys,
Here's a full fibre glass version of my race proven tunnel.
She handled the Pioneer 29 with comfort and as always turn on a dime.
Also been tested with full OB powered by Pioneer 29 as well and seems to run OK. Need more time to dial her in on both set up.
If things workout as planned, this will be a 2 in 1 . You can set it up as an OB or IB with perhaps a little change to the transom and a little weight distribution shuffling.
Video of the original hull powered by a Zen 7 is here. www.youtube.com/watch?v=FM1EJ8OviCg
Video of the fabricated hull with OB and single steering servo is here www.youtube.com/watch?v=PREOOVXk2ZA
Pic uploading doesn't seem to work. I'll try again.

My server playing up, so not easy to upload pics. Anyhow here are pics of my tunnel. Race developed and race proven when it was all wooden. Now fabricated and tested before release once testing is done.
. Have to reduce file size first.

Thanks mate.
Appreciated. You could do one more little thing that should go with these pics.
Video of the maiden run. I've tried but just didn't work. Thanks again.

RE: GAS F1 INBOARD TUNNEL HULLS
Hi all tunnels are looking good. Will be starting on my 1/4 inboard tunnel soon. Just got the engine for it today. I know it is wrong type of engine for the forum but just wanted to know if anyone knows about the Russian made MAC 10? Monster nitro engine and think it would work awesome in my 1/4 inboard tunnel. Can't find much info on the engine on the net. Its brand new. What kind of hp? Max rpms? What % nitro?

Hey Daz,
Yep, this thread been very quiet for a while now.
Its looking real good, very sleek and smooth lines. I remember that you were also doing a plug for another F1 too, I think ..... how's that one going ?
Cheers
Chris

RE: GAS F1 INBOARD TUNNEL HULLS
Well, I'll add to the revival of this thread too.
Here's my, still unpainted F1 inboard with dumpy Mercury cowl. Its running well with 29 stroker and custom hotpipe, still trying different props,
but think I'm pretty close to having finished and ready to strip for painting.
Last couple of pictures, are of the new repainted dumby cowl, as the cowl(in first pic's) was damaged when hull went skywards on the back straight.
Cheers

RE: GAS F1 INBOARD TUNNEL HULLS
Hi Chris
Thanks bud,i was doing a plug/ mould but wasnt happy with it so decided to build a hull and will mould off this 1 instead ,the canopy will have to be done in 2 (split moulds) to keep the lines and shape also will be a new OB cowl and radio box to suit aswell
working on both the X cat and this 1 so plenty to do at mo haha
You F1 looking good and sits nice on the water youll have to get some vids of it running

Look forward to more updates on your as it proceeds along.

Hey Daz,
Finally got some video of it running, so now just going through the editing process(learning how to). Will hopefully have it posted up later tonight or tomorrow night.
Good to see another Jordo hull Dion, and it looks like a Gen 1 hull. How's it running for you ?
Cheers
Chris
