RE: Yellow Aircraft F-16C EDF Build
Here was my second flight of my "practice" F-16. The landing was much smoother, but it took a couple of tries to get the approach just right. I stalled it on one attempt when the nose got a little high. It veered to the right and went behind the flight line briefly, but the final landing was just right.

Ok, 'nuff layin' around and not working on the F-16. I took it out of the garage, cleaned up my "shop" in the apartment and am ready to finish this thing up. I also thought it would be a good time to update the intro, graphics and music a bit since I had to install a new hard drive since the last F-16 video.
Also, if you wait until the end of the video I make an announcement as to the next build thread. Check it out here:

RE: Yellow Aircraft F-16C EDF Build
Hi guys -
super sorry if this is a hijacking but I really need a new top hatch for my YA f-16 - just got one of the older fiberglass ones and left it out...my dog thought it was a special treat. AARGH. Anyone have one they could part with? It has two pins on the front and a latch on the back. Gray color preferred....thanks.

Here's the next installment. Attaching the rudder to the vertical stab:

Here is the final stage of the vertical stab. This part is done and I can cross it off my list!

Added the cockpit tub to the fuse. Should be secure enough to handle a few rough landings.

Back on it. Trying to get wrap up the cockpit. I think I'm going to take a break from that and start getting some paint on the bottom for the next video:

I'm actually laying down paint on the bottom of the plane now! Can you smell that? Smells like progress! Do you see the light? It's coming from the end of the tunnel! This is episode #95, I'm hoping to be done by 100! (That's why the videos have been longer :-) )

Hey,
I haven't been able touch it since last video. I have been supporting two mortgages and was losing ground. I finally sold the second house two months ago (woohoo!) and am just now getting back on my feet.
It'll probably be another couple months when I have a healthy reserve and can get back at it :-). Thanks for checking in. I'm glad there is still interest in the project out there.
