RE: Comp ARF BAE Hawk build thread
I went back and found many installation pics in the early posts, it looks like there is no "right" way to mount the equipment tray, I see the supplied tray used creatively in every orientation and position, plus many homemade examples. I see that they are not structural, so I will glue in the bulkheads and use screws to attach the a tray to them.
I talked to Todd at Dreamworks today and it is much the same with the Airpower Multi Funtion Valve. Choose sequence timing and failsafe pressures that are long enough and high enough to do the job. So I will have to experiment with that. He prefers to use the pulse braking.

Hey Guys, for those of you who got the Union Jack Scheme, what did you use as reference to place all the standard Nomenclature decals from Ralle at TailorMadeDecals ? I just receive mines today and they are top of the line!!.
Thanks!

I'm not clear if you mean the 2010 display scheme or the 238 scheme with Union Jack on the vertical fin?

Thanks, combination of 2k paint and Sata spray gun!
Sprayed both the jet intakes in 2k primer and found as per fin and rudder plenty of pin holes so had to give a coat of Upol and fill the holes now ready for another thin coat to see if they have all been filled plus to reveal any new ones!

RE: Comp ARF BAE Hawk build thread
I have ordered the landing gear and I have to order some minor stuff. Turbine is going to be my new Merlin 140.
Couple questions:
- may I polish it using regulas car polishing wax. Just to remove some non shining spots.
- i have one 3 liters tank. Can I use it with another 1,2 liter tank conected in series?
Regards

Yes, you could, original CARF tank is best, but you can link with big bore pipes and inlet tubes

You could always make your own! I made mine with blue foam then melted it out with thinners, I was aiming for around 4.5L but it actually cam out @4.8L
I used two layers of glass cloth with carbon twill in between both layers, also turned the fittings. The resin used was West System Expoxy

Air rams (landing gear door actuators):
Manual states 1.5 inch stroke like http://www.robart.com/products/38-x-...e-air-cylinder. But that one is still only available at Robart therefore is it possible to live with 1.0 inch stroke like this http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXET28&P=7?

You may be OK with the nose door, but main doors need the F-RB165 (30mm stroke) Robart must still make this? Or use Ultra Precision 1 1/4" stroke
