Best scale photo!

RE: Best scale photo!
Great shots of a wonderful helicopter. Just a little idea: I don't see a pilot in the left seat. Well, other than fixed wing aircraft, whe the pilot sits in the left side, helicopters are flown from the right seat. So you might want to change your pilot over...

Fellow RC pilot Ron Cain of The Greater Cincinnati Radio Control Club was flying his C-47 at the "Warbirdes Over Lousiville" October 13th, 2013...I apologize that I do not have the name of the photographer but they took 2 beautiful shots of the model during one of his flights. Just wanted to share....

Dear Mike,
Yes, everone up here at GCRCC is talking about your photos of Ron's C-47...I am so glad you found this site and explained that these were your shots.....Really nice of you to share these.....This model is very large as well and I wish I had more information on the weight, wingspan, power sources, and who made the kit and such...I was looking all over Ron's pages and could not find any details...We all up here know just how large the model is and understand the "presence" it brings when he has it in the air...Maybe you could contact Ron through an email and he could share more information about it.....keeping in mind that any other photos must maintain a "Real Airplane Looking" appearence in this forum...This is what is expected here...as I found out the hard war the first time I posted anything on here....Again Awesome photos...

Thanks for the kind words David. It's a lot easier to shoot big planes and slower WW1 types. Most WW2 guys often (not always) seem to know one throttle setting, and that taxes my meager skills. And you are right about "Real Airplane Looking". I'd forgotten which thread this was, and FW190 and the C-47 too, don't really make the grade in that respect. You can see the spark plug wires in the C-47 pics (need a little post production there), and the FW190 does need a pilot. For the record, John Hudak is planning to add a Best Pilots (awesome) Gunther Rall to the cockpit. The background isn't the best for the Focke Wulf either.
