Default Do's and dont's for the super reaper

Hi everyone,
Just purchased a Mickey Reeves Super Reaper and I'd like your opinions on the good things and bad things about this plane as far as the building
is concerned. Like, do I really need the rudder? Or, retract?
I'm planning to use a JJ 1400.
Also on the wings, how can I tell the top from the bottom, or if there is any difference?
And, I'd like some info on a low-budget smoke system that I'd like to use on this plane.
Pictures of the building process are welcome, since Mickey does not provide any instructions.
Thanks.

yes you need rudders if you fly at an AMA field.
No it doesnt need retracts.
As for a cheap smoke system you can get a TME smoke pump that plugs into your reciver for about 80 bucks and a buy a few injectors from Tam. Add a 4.8v battery pack and your in business.

The rest I cant help you with.

av8or48,

Shock supplied the correct answer on the rudders & retracts. As for the wings, they are fully symmetrical. Just choose which one is going to be left & right and build accordingly.

If you use the search function and type in (Super Reaper), you will find much info has already been posted about building and flying the SR.
