I have the second one works great. it comes with the reciver, and servos that you need. when you get extra cash get A ESC and the [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXBUA9&P=Z]ball bearings[/link] set there is noticable diffrence in response. I have a 19T in my TT 01 and works good for me because it makes good torque for drift and decent top end for racing.
my upgrades so far are pretty basic it drifted great stock ut I wanted a little more
fireball 19 T, Aluminum drive shaft, carbon upper frame, duratrax esc, yokomo drift tires on white 5 star Hpi wheels. and three bodys (raybrig NSX,Yokomo s 15, and hummer H2)

hi dude!!..[>:]
the tt01 is a great choice, i have loads, one for drifting and my others are for crashing...lol..
all you need is bearing set, allu shaft and drift tyers, use the stock motor to start off with, this will be good so that when you get more power from your 19t motor you can use it properly!...lol
tyers are a personal choice, some say make your own, some say hpi (hard compund rubber).. yoko with, with out rings there are loads but to start with just get a set that you like the look of..lol... then experiment!
the bearing help with friction and the allu shaft will help response, the plastic stock one flex's to much and you dont get the full power through the shaft and onto the wheels,
after all that you can play a bit more, locking diffs and more.. hop-ups, but you can drift from the box 9/10 so pactice then add all the bits and bob's , you get to understand what your new parts do better and how they effect your driving, hence knowing your car better!..
hope this helps but i find it silly buying stuff and then you not liking it, after adding motors, esc, you name it..lol
the pro's will say practice makes perfect...lol...
