i was driving my rustler with the sirio .23 engine on a street then suddenly i hit a car and broke the engine mounts and engine , the engine is only 2 days old can anyone tell where to find parts for the sirio engine ,i have searched but didnt find the part [:@][:@]

i have tried ebay but coudnt find the part and i cant afoord a new engine because i finished my money on the sirio [sm=sad_smile.gif] , is there anyway i can attach the part ?

dont you have the manual if its only 2 days old???? if you have the part number go to kyosho.com and order it from there..........kyosho makes sirio

i got the engine installed in the hobby shop so they didnt give me the box nor the manual , i have tried kyosho but didnt know how to order engine parts all i fount is kits and car parts

actually it wasnt a problem to install it was a drop in , the prob is that the engine hit the chassis of the car

call the LHS and tell them you need the manual or atleast to give you the part number to the crank case..............be aware tho your looking at spending about 70+ dollars on a crank case

owchie.... thats what happend to my real cars distributer, i used a network of zip ties to hold it down.

you might want to get a giant adjustible hoze clamp and drill slots for the clamp and pressurize it around the head using zip ties and the clamp, then you can use a glow plug extender so you dont have to put it on the head itself. that could work...

but look on the manual and see how much it costs without the bearings and other parts. all you need is the engine block... ive seen used engine blocks sold for $10

or you can use J&B weld for aluminum engine blocks and glue it back togather, it can hold up to around 800F and its stronger than the steel it bonds to.

ill call the lhs after tomorrow and get the part number since they are closed tommorow but if i got the part number from can i get the part ? if i coudnt find the prt ill try to stick it with J&B weld

got it glued , going to wait for about 2 hours then ill apply the gasket

finished the gluing and everything but i still think that it wont last 2 runs so i will still end up buying the part , if i got the part number from where can i get the part ??

i installed it in the car and i fired the engine and it worked well no smoke came out of the engine but i cant run it ill have to wait for my robinson spur gear and jato 2.5 wheels an tires and alloy hubs , will the vg racing roll cage for the rustler fit with the sirio engine since its bigger than the 2.5

actually i coudnt find the jb weld so i used another glue and gasket but it didnt hold

i called the hobby shop and they had the parts i needed so i got it all for 105$
