Default Help pulling Brillelli 26 apart

[:-] Helo all, I crashed my plane with the Brillelli 26 and due to the impact bended the crankshaft a litle bit. I have the model with the flywheel. I want to pull it apart to carry the crankshaft to be proffesionally straightend. However I cannot even take out the hub since I cannot look inside to see what wrench i need to loosen it. The manual I got wit the model did not specify any part.

Can someone please tell me what wrench is needed to loosen up the hub? so that i can take out the fly wheel and then be able to pull the engine apart?

Thank you, Randy

Contact Scott at Brillelli direct. He will tell you exactly what you need to know about his engine the first time.

Randy. You will need to heat the hub up some. Just use a propane torch. What I do is bolt an old prop to the hub, put some starter rope in the sparkplug hole to prevent the engine from turning over, and then unscrew the hub. I use JB weld to keep it on so it will take a little heat to get it to let loose. If the crank is not twisted, it may be easier to have it straitened without removing it from the engine. I have done most of them that way. Then you do not need to remove the hub at all.
