LB - as others have said, you can get RIT dye at a lot of stores (Target may even carry it). When you dye your rims, make sure to warm up the dye (don't boil them, but get 'em hot) so the dye can soak in better. Use an old pot to do so.
My Schumacher Bosscat wheels were originally white that I dyed black - far, far better than painting them. Just don't get the stuff on ya.

Ok let me be the first to say, the Savage Flux does NOT look like fun. Too much torque, you can't put the throttle down at all before it's on it's lid? What's the point in that? I'll take my nitro savage now over this as I can actually hammer down the throttle and not spend the time on my lid. Just my opinion of course, but I think my old Savage 25 could beat the flux in a drag race due to the extreme difficulty of keeping the flux on all 4 wheels.

Well, you can always gear it down, step down to 4s LiPo, stuff like that. The way it drives in that video is nuts though...just too much.
RE: THE LOUNGE 2
Gearing down will just make the wheelies worse?
I had this mini monster truck on brushless and anything over 1/4 throttle it flipped, this looks similar and just speaking from experience, it gets old fast. This is the one reason I have been hesitant to go brushless on some of my nitros, too much torque to the point where you have to be careful with the throttle 100% of the time instead of just having fun and driving.

Probably can change it via electronic.. ESC programming, TX programming, etc.
But yeah, it is no fun that way... I'd run mine in 4S only! (if I ever get one!)

The only downside to electric in my eye is the instant torque. Yes that's true. You always have to be conscience of how much throttle you are applying. When I am driving my nitros (well some of them), I don't have to worry as much due to the nature. I do have a few rockets of nitros where I do watch the throttle application, but nothing like my electrics where I better be careful 100% of the time.
Even the flux on 4 cell is a wheely machine. If we could fit a center diff or something I would be more interested.

RE: THE LOUNGE 2
Got my huge hobbycity order in last night. Big brushless motor and esc for one of my jets. A couple of lipos, magnetic rotor balancer, and some odds and ends. Only cost 200 total and I got a lot of stuff, like a 60 amp esc and motor which would cost 4X as much for stuff like that over here.
RE: THE LOUNGE 2
Center diff => not a MT anymore, dude!!
I say dial down the punch and dial in some throttle exponential setting.. and see how it goes..
(not like I got one to play with.. but just saying..)

I ran my Clod in the snow last night.. it was a lot of fun for sure.. if it wasn't so cold outside.. but I guess that's what you get when you run your RC at 11PM.. [:@]
