The 3003 is an entry-level servo. I'd stick with something a bit beefier to turn the big Volcano wheels. The 3003 is about 3kg.cm of torque, you probably want at least 5-6kg.cm for the Volcano.
It is compatible though. Most servos are - the pinout nowadays is the same across brands, as is case size.

This is what I have installed on at least 5 of my customers Volcano's [link=http://xtm-dealer.com/zencart/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=981]Airtronics 94162Z Hi Torque MG BB[/link] and its been perfect all the way [:-] Its as heavy as you ever need to go on a 1/10 truck
