Default RC10GT Tx/Rx

Hello everyone,

I have a quick question about a RC10GT Tx/RX. I have a RC10GT that I bought from TowerHobbies about 10 yrs ago that I want to start playing with again. I got the car out and after about 10 pulls tha motor fired up an ran fine. Anyway, I need a new Tx/Rx for it and was wondering what you folks might recommend. I dont really need anything outragous, just something to replace the original TX/Rx.

Is there a problem with the electronics you have now?

I would not change a thing if everything is working fine. How much are you looking to spend and is everything ok with the ones you have now?

Hey, sorry for the slow reply.

There is a problem with the electronics. The car has been in the barn for the last 3 or 4 years and I have lost the Tx . It is an old Towerhobbies system3000 and I thought I would just replace the Tx and Rx. I dont wanna spend alot since all it will be used for is to run on a homemade track I am building for my son.

Thx.

Well in that case you can get the Futaba 2PH AM RADIO. Tower has it for 52.99 and it comes with a Futaba R152JE RX and 2 S3003 servos. It is a real basic AM system but I run it both on my Jato and RC10GT. Its a good combo and it is dirt cheap.
