Default Robird G31 question

Hi all.
I recently got hold of a Robird G31 FBL unit and have a few questions please....I know basically nothing about FBL stuff.

It had something loose in the case and when I opened it I found the ferrite disc has come loose from the upper case. There is a metal wire from for looks of it secured to the inside of the place where the disk must go.

What does this metal disk do? Can I simply epoxy this disc back into the case with epoxy?

Can this FBL unit be used on a 50 RJX Nitro heli? will it be "big enough" for scale flying?

It will be used with one standard JR Rx on 35 Mhz....will it be OK?

Thanx
