Mark,
I have not received mine yet. The system I am getting should have all servos and rods connected. But I can tell you from my limited experience a 9g to 15g servo should work. If you are planning on getting fancy then you may want to go to thinner, little more money, servo for the wings. I will be moding mine and making flaps, rudder and retracts (front and rear). Here the servos will have to be in the micro area for space limitations. Check with HobbyKing, or your favorite store and see what they have or will recommend. PS...if you can go for the metal gear, will last longer and will not stress as the plastic will.
