Best 36" wing
I've done all I can with my 48" wing and now I'm looking to step up to more speed and maneuverability. I’ve narrowed down my search to: Mini XE $79, Devastator $50, and eZipper $60. Are they all good and it’s a win win no matter what I pick?

RE: Best 36" wing
Hey Wood duck,
That EZipper has a fairly simple setup.
Motor: Mega 4 Turn
ESC: Castle 25
Battery: Nickel Met's, 10 cell pack, KAN 1350's
Prop: 5.5 X 4.5
It will go about 100mph. With about 8-13 minute flights depending on how you work the throttle.
You will get a lot more punch if you upgrade to Lipo's (3s2p 3600's from Tom at WingWarrior). I run the KAN Cells (Hard Cells)
because I mess around a lot and crash frequently and do not want to mess up expensive lipo packs...But if you have experience and ard not trying to do rolling circles 4 feet off the ground you will be ok.
The wing I am flying in the video is built by [link=http://www.ritewingrc.com]Chris (ritewing)[/link]
He has some very special building processes that make precise aerobatics possible.

RE: Best 36" wing
Sarge,
Did you get a wing? What did you decide on?
The wing in that video was a hand me down from [link=http://www.ritewingrc.com]Chris (ritewing)[/link]
He had nosed it in WOT at 120 and almost tore the nose out of it. We Glued it back together and it became mine.
It has burried controll rods and 3 carbon spars (stout build...a few extra ounces) and is kinda underpowered with only a 4 turn in it.
It was built for a 3 turn and 3600 lipo pack (120+mph) so it was never meant to fly that slow! A 4 turn flies even better on a lighter build.

RE: Best 36" wing
I ended up buying a Mini XE with a Mega 16/15/4 and a Castle Creation 25 controller from NSP. They are having a year end sale and gave me a pretty good deal. Anybody want to recommend a prop?

RE: Best 36" wing
The prop range is about 5x5 to 6x4. 5x5 will produce more speed but the 6x4 will have more vertical.
I use the black carbon fiber 5x5 props and APC 6 x4 thin electric. I have ordered an E Zipper from hobby people!
The Mega 16/15/4 with 6x4 prop is what I currently use in my 48" Overlord. The Mega is a terrific motor for wings!
