9VAP question
I have a 9VAP that still flies OK most of the time. On occassion though, all the servos jitter from lack of signal - my guess. Now if you collapse the antenna a few times, signal comes back.
My question is how does this antenna make contact inside the TX? By a nut at the base? Or does it just snap into position on the board?
Any pictures of this area handy?

RE: 9VAP question
I have a 9 VAP that I purchased in 1986, I cherish this radio for it has given me nothing but good service. If I were you I would send it in for servicing along with a detailed letter of the problems you are having. The VAP was truly a radio built ahead of it's time, almost 20 years later, the 9Z isn't really that much more sophistocated.

idoxlr8-RCU ,
We're sorry you didn't get a timely answer to your question.
Once someone replies to a question, other than one of the Futaba support people, the message falls down the list, and there is no longer a red zero in the replies column. Because we answer so many emails, forum questions, and such, we can't always check every message that doesn't have a red zero in the replies column.
People, please DO NOT answer other people's questions, even if you know the answer. This will help us get to everybody's questions.
As far as sending in for service, we do have the notice at the top of the forum that explains exactly how to send something to us to be checked out.
