Default Setting Twin elevator servos using 9CAP

I'm highly disappointed that my 9CAP PCM doesn't have " conditions" ala JR's 9 Ch XP 9303. Through super accurate mechanical setups ,one can "nearly " identicalize servo distance from the hinge line , measure total throw deflection in degrees , and set up the ailevator function as per the manual to get things moving in the proper direction using a separate servo for each elevator half , BUT without a conditions menu , one servo can never mirror the other through the full range of up/down motion. I prefer not to use Matchbox type devices , so I guess I'm S.O.O.L. ! Am I wrong , Mr. Futaba ? If so , tell me how to do it.

Default RE: Setting Twin elevator servos using 9CAP

You are not wrong, the 9C does not have "conditions" as our Futaba 9Z, 12Z or 14MZ has.

In Heli mode it will have "conditions" in the level of gyro sensitivity, governor speed, and rate of servo travel for up to 4 conditions—and the 9C automatically selects the right level/speed/rate when you change condition.

We have a Radio Comparison chart to show this on our website at:

http://www.futaba-rc.com/radios/feature-compare.html

and we also have all of our manuals online for customers who are comparing features before purchasing, so that they will know what each radio is capable of before buying.

I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support team at 217-398-8970 opt 2, or via fax at 217-398-7721.
