Futaba FASST Receiver Antenna Replacement/FIX
Hi guys, I really need your help.
I just made a mistake, I mean something stupid. I was making some arrangements to my Trex Wiring, so by mistake I CUT ONE OF THE TWO RECEIVER ANTENNAS (2.4 FASST 7 CH). I know this is new tech stuff and I can not solder the traditional way because it is a tinny coaxial cable and connector, I am trying to find out some help but nothing.
I just want to know if there is a FIX or if there is available a replacement antenna and where can I buy it.
To send the RX to Futaba It will cost more than if I buy a new one.
Please FUTABA (Bax, Krysta) need your help. This Radio Set is outstanding and I am happy using it.
I googled it and I found some commercial micro coaxial cable and connectors, but I do not know the technical specs.

I will realy appreciate your help.
Thanks
JC

RE: Futaba FASST Receiver Antenna Replacement/FIX
Just to let you know:
I already talked to the Futaba Guys and they told me that the antenna must be replaced, there is no way to repair the damaged one. So I found two places where they can replace it. Cost: 20 usd aprox.
Thanks
JC

RE: Futaba FASST Receiver Antenna Replacement/FIX
Hi JC,
There is no fix other than replacing this. It can be purchased either by "special order" through your local Great Planes authorized hobby shop, or by contacting our Futaba Support phone line at 217-398-8970 top. 2.
The part number for a replacement antenna is HSP79493.
