9C compatible small Recieivers.....
Hello,
Just curious if there is a list somewhere, or if anyone has any insight on the compatibility of smaller recieivers that work with a 9C synthesizer transmitter. I have a good deal of 127DF recievers on most of my planes, but I am putting together a smaller F-16 Ducted fan that only requires 3 channels and a small reciever with good range. I have considered the R124F and R114F but I am concerned with the short range (or should I be?). Any thoughts or ideas? It doesn't have to be a futaba RX, but I dont mind either way as long as it works with my 9C Sythesized TX. Thanks!

Any receiver that wil work with Futab transmitters will work work with the your 9C. The Berg 4(from castle Creations) or Hitec Electron 6 (Tower) for instance. Just make sure you dial in a synthesized frequency to match the crystal in the receiver. I would stick with dual conversion receivers if I were you. (the Berg excepted.)

There is no "list". Futaba does have micro receivers that will work with all of their other systems. We can't speak for non-Futaba makers. Some of them work and some don't...there isn't a list. You'd need to check with those vendors if you decide to use non-Futaba receivers.
The Futaba micro receivers are:

FUTL0641 R156F FM 72MHZ MICRO W/O XTL US$79.99
FUTL7626 R616FFM 2.4GHZ FASST PF RX 6CH US$89.99
All of these receivers will work nicely with your Futaba transmitter.

You've probably already purchased a receiver by now, but I'll throw out the name of Berg receivers. I've used several of them, and have been quite satisfied. Plus these are now available through Tower.
