moki 2.10 mount on sig 1/4 300
I have a sig extra 1/4 scale that I would like to install a moki 2.10 on but I am not able to find a engine mount that is large enough for a 2.10. Dont want to have the engine pull off a mount that is to small!! Does any one know where I can purchase one that is going to be large enough?

RE: moki 2.10 mount on sig 1/4 300
The best mount for the 2.10 is the radial mount designed for that engine. Other than that, I have fashioned plywood mounts for that engine and the 1.80, but, they had to be built into the framework of the model, part of the firewall and second former actually. It would need to span those two formers. One that I built too lightly allowed the 2.10 to rip the nose out of a Top Flite giant P-51-D........

That one works. You will need a 1/4 inch spacer for the pitts exhaust to clear the mount.
Also Dave Patrick has some fiber filled ones that will fit a Moki 2.10. They are very light, he would probably sell you some for a few bucks. They came with my Edge 27% and work great (a little warped though, shims needed to flatten them out to the firewall).
I've heard many people that like this one too:
