Default Smoke muffler connections?

What kind of tubing and fittings are you guy's running for the smoke systems on gas engines?
I'm having a hard time with the tubing melting right off the smoke tap on the J&A muffler on my BME 50cc.

Is there a special high heat tubing you use from the pump to the muffler?

Thanks for any info or tips.

Try the black neporene tubing or the glow fuel tubing. The glow tubing won't last as long--but it's more heat resistant.

What are you using now? The only stuff I'm aware of that can take the heat, AND is resistant to smoke fluid and gasoline, is the neoprene fuel tubing. Many of the suppliers sell it as fuel line but also specifically sell it for smoke taps.

I thought I did try the neoprene tubing but maybe it wasn't the same stuff. I figured silicone tubing wouldn't handle the oil but maybe I'll try it.

I was wondering about Viton tubing also?

Neoprene is black.

Tygon is yellow.
