I'm not creative enough to create a logo but, personally, I like the one that says, "Fly the L out of it". LOL

I have been impressed with so many good ideas! For me though, I really do like the simper ones that don't try to say too much.

My opinion - FWIW - is that whatever is chosen, needs to be based on "readability".... after all, this is ADVERTISING and Marketing....so a BIG or small splash should be readable.

My preference are the more readable fonts, the cursive-styles tend to get fuzzy - particularly with all those L's.... (Look at my name below, I know)

Ya'll are coming up with great schemes!
Can't wait to see what the winner gets....

Zippi, I agree, plain and simple. That's what I will work on next. Here is one almost simple.

When you pick one, you could use different color for different size engine????

I agree on all points... some def. great designs coming out. The one problem I see is some are getting too advanced to be an inexpensive vinyl decal which Scott can get cut and hand out. If you havent seen the current ones yet.. Scott happened to pick out an Avery metalic blue which imo is an awesome color (thinking of doing an arc using that color) but it's also more pricey then the standard colors. If the logos get too advanced its going to cost Scott $10-20 to send out 2 decals.

Just some food for thought.. I did some basic ones but I dont have the skill you guys do

Keep em coming!

sinergy, maybe one like this, available in a choice of colors. Just one color with the center clear to go over another color

I agree with aerobob, "readability"... simple one color. Scott'e Avery metallic blue and perhaps a choice of a few primary colors to complement the customers airplane color scheme.

Maybe the guys from Brillelli should let us know what they like so far so we can stay on track

If the Brillelli guys let you know which one they like so far, then your gonna wind up with a bunch of the same logo's,not to mention ya all arguing over who's idea it originated from. Simple plain one color adds are'nt very eye catchy, you dont even need a picture to be a good logo.I think ya all just make up your logo's, present them, and let the Brillelli guys decide whats good for them, after all,it is there choice in the end,and why put limits on ones artistic creativity. Be original, use some colors,or not, ya never know, the one ya thought would never make it will probably be the one, have fun with it, use your imaginations. Mark

HANGERKING, if Brillelli is going to pass them out or sell to every customer then cost is to be considered. Asking the Brillelli guys to let us know what they like should not be done. Scott stated in his thread to start this contest that the contestants and forum user's will vote for the winning entry. Word of mouth and reputation will do more than advertising with a catchy logo. Take a look at DA's logo, nothing fancy about that, and it has no color.

Skinnybob, post was not meant to offend, i see alot of creative art here and there, and there are some of us out here that have capabilities to make our own graphics, therefore thats why i say create on fellas. Plus would'nt a big POWERED BY BRILLELLI on the bottom of your wing look awesome hovvering just off the deck, thats advertising! Just purchased my first gas engine, a 46 ei, can't wait to see the big brown truck arrive at my doorstep.

WOW, I never thought you guys would come up with so many logo's ! They are VERY nice and your efforts are GREATLY appreciated. I think what we will do is on the 30th, Mark and I will go through and pick the 5-10 we like best (That will be difficult) Then I will start an RCU poll so people can vote on the one they like best. Whichever logo wins the poll, wins the engine. That will be the fairest way to do it I think. Let the people decide I would like to do a vote on all of them, but I do not think that would be possable. By the 30th there will just be too many of them.

Again thank you for your efforts. There is some very nice stuff here. I think we will be making some T-shirts with some of them even if they don't win the vote. They are just too good not to use them somewere. Plus on a Tshirt, the more detailed ones will work well.

Thanks,
Scott & Mark

No offense taken my friend, just thought we should stick to simple easy to reproduce logos. T-shirts, hats, POWERED BY BRILLELLI under the wing would be great.
Now with Scott and Marks last post it looks like the gate is open for creativity. If nothing else, this contest is going to cause a lot of attention.

This is fun! Skinny Bob
