What vibration ? Oh, thats nothing... you should see my bud's 50cc Pitts vibrate at idle, it's like a old Harley with a fouled spark plug. lol
I got my choke installed last night, but im gunna have to switch the easy connector to a nylon clevis on the end of the rod. When I jiggle the control rod, I can hear scratchy noises in the servo's. I insulated the control rod with small fuel line, so it doesn't contact the support bracket out by the cowl, but that easy connector, where the rod connects to the choke, has to go.

Itold you ,that before returding hole sensor it wibrated too much, but now the vibration has gone, it's vibrating less than my mag 91rfs. yes, I always balance props. I had 5.2 kg thrust with 17X8 cheap chinese prop after 3 liters of burned gas with 25:1 mix. I hope it will be increased minimum up to 5.5 kg after break in.
wanna see this engine in flight.

RE: New SV Gassers
I guess im gullable... The guy at the saw shop showed me a trick, and we put 7 ounces of synthetic blend oil in a gallon of gas, instead of the stated 4 ounces, so not to score the cylinder wall during break in, but today, the SV26 fouled it's plug, and started running rough at high speed. When we couldn't correct it with the needles, we decided maybe the ign battery was low. Nope, that wasn't it.... No problem... stopped off at Tractor Supply on the way home and got another plug. Also, I corrrectly mixed a fresh gallon of fuel, and poured the over oiled batch into my pickup. Tomorrow should be better after a quick retune. The Jenn Feng spark plug that came with my engine had a severely off center center electrode, so im glad to see that one out of there anyway. Here's some footage from today, before the problem occured. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4rGXqEx7e4

Yep with 7oz of oil in the gallon of gas I can see why you fouled a plug. If you are running yours like I am you are a little rich any way. Did you make sure the plug you got from Tractor supply was a resistor plug? I am asking because if it is not you will get some radio interferance from the plug firing. If you have a spectrum radio you may not have that problem.
I have my SV-26 mounted to my Goldberg Stinson and I'll post a pic later today. I plan on using a APC 18x6 prop with mine. I'll need as much thrust as I can get and from my testing this size prop produces the most thrust.

I seriously doubt that it is a resistor plug, and I seriously doubt that the Jenn Feng was a resistor plug also. I have called Napa, and Kragens, and they dont even have a listing for a NGK CPMR6F. I have 2 counter people trying to find them for me now.
Im going to take my chances and tie er down and do some running range checks and glitch tests. If it doesnt seem to be bothered, im flyin it. I have one more place to call, but im not going to hold my breath...

RE: New SV Gassers
You may not have any glitching with a non-resister plug, if it passes a range test go fly... The CM6 plugs used on a DA or Dl and other engines is a non-resister plug and my DL has never had RFI... I will add they do have shielded plug wire and cap as your engine does... You can get the resister plugs from BCMA, Brillelle and other engine manufacurers. I think all resister plugs have an R in the part number... My local small engine dealers do not stock them. Larry

I just called Cheryl @ Redding RC, and she told me that she gets her plugs from Zenoah, under a Zenoah part number, but they send her NGK4226, and it has a big letter "R" on the side. She sells em for about $8.00, and pays $5.99. I called Napa and found that they have that same plug for $1.99 each. I have 2 waiting for me to pick up right now. I called Cheryl back and told her she could get em at Napa, and save $4.00 !

We run all our Gassers in @ 25 to 1 for the first tank,,Not for scoreing of the bore,,But for putting presher behind the ring so you get a nice Bedding of the ring ,,works a treat

Hmmm... thats not even listed in my chart, is that like 6oz's to a gallon ? 4 oz's is 32:1, and I have 5 oz's in my new batch, but only because there was an extra oz of oil in the darn bottle.
Ive been beating the hell out of an old weedeater for 10 years before it got tired, and that was just using 4oz's of cheap, whatever I could find at the time, 2 stroke oil in it's gas. Ran strong for 10 years ! Sometimes I think we get a little excentric with this stuff. lol

Yep your right,,when it comes to these chepper motors there tolrencers anit like a DA or 3W there more like a weed wacker more user frendly,,a bit more slop
I have never weighed my oil,,if im doing say 40:1,, i mix 2 liters of fuel to 50ml of oil,,or 4 liters fuel to 100ml oil and so on

Over here we have fluid ounces, and weight, but im using fluid ounces. There is 128 ounces in a gallon, 32 ounces in a quart, 8 ounces in a cup, and 4 quarts in a gallon. A half cup (4 ounces) of oil added to a gallon of gas is 32:1. Thats what i'll be trying for a while...

RE: New SV Gassers
I perfer metric for tool sizes. lol Do not try a non resistor plug ! I just did, and the control surfaces were going banana's ! It was very comical, only because she was tied down to the flatbed. Cleaned the origional spark plug, and with the new, properly mixed fuel, it seems to be doing fine. This oil is Pennsoil Outdoor, for small 2 stroke engines, with TC-W3, whatever that is. It kept my boat from fouling plugs though. I'll be trying a full synthetic next. We never did break in this engine correctly, just started using it, but I guess it got plenty of oil for the first couple of hours of running. Off to the flying site, back later...

You can get the NGK BPMR6F plug from Scott at Brillelli.com. He is a real great guy and will answer any question you might have. This is the Standard plug he uses in most of his engines. I have 3 Brillelli's(36GT, 40GT and 46GT) I have used this plug in all 3 engine's and it works great. They are only $2.00 each.

RE: New SV Gassers
Hmmm.. I had it as a CPMR6F, no wonder Napa couldn't find it. lol Oh well....
I had trouble again today. It ran great for maybe 20 minutes, then it all went bad, and started getting worse. The new 4.8, 700ma NiCad was down to 20% ! That ignition system draws alot ! Im stealing the 2000ma 6 volt out of my super skybolt, and letting it have the darn 4.8 volt, 700 ma battery. I think their deadly serious.... when the voltage drops below 4.8, and I mean 4.7, it starts to run awful. Yesterday when it started running silly, the ign battery was at exactly 4.7, go figure. Anyway, if the 6 volt battery fixes this problem, I'll be extremely happy. I was about to check the screen in my carb.
