Yeah, he posts in here all the time. He's probably out of town at an event or something. I'm sure you'll hear from him soon. He's not a real techie when it comes to computers or smart phones.

Bob, when he does get around to responding, it might help if he knew which twin you're considering. Until then, not sure how exact a dimension you're after, or if you've already seen these, but there are dimensions supplied in the owners manuals that might get you close enough?

Guessing you're after one of these-
21cc manual
http://www.rcgfservice.com/upload/pr...1552140759.pdf

30cc manual

Best of luck on your project. -Al

Hi Al
Have tried both links and both come up a can not find.
So sent a E-mail to the factory

Requesting the dimension's plug cap to plug cap and back of prop to the end of the std stand off's with these dim's I will be able to finish my lay out for the front of my build.

I am out here still.. I do not get notices hardly at all any more. I am very sorry for the late response. I just stumbled onto this today…
The 30T is just under 9" top of cap to top of cap. 4 & 1/4" from prop hub to firewall back plate. The stand off is 7/8" tall
The 21T is around 8" top of cap to top of cap. 4" from prop hub to firewall back plate. The stand off is 7/8" tall.

Kind Regards,

Hi.I bought RCGF 30 twin.It is real crap. When I tried to brake the engine ignition stop working after 5 min.Carburettor Heat Block insulator was cracked. Carburettor had needle problem. When I did contact with customer service they told me I have to send all parts to China and paid all shipments cost. Not only shipping to them but also shipping back.Totally cost for shipping 72$.It is mean no warranty service.Quality is very poor but the price is to high for this crap.My recommendation do not buy this engine because no warranty service,no quality.,
Have to buy quality engine from another company.Good luck for everybody

Can you guys not see this dude is what the youngsters nowadays would call a "troll"? He comes on here with ZERO previous posts saying that everything on a motor was junk and telling people to buy a different brand. He complains about having to ship something to China, but by the way he types it seems like he's already in China.

I'm guessing this guy is somehow RCGF's competition...

I'm guessing the engine came from HK. If that's the case, he'd have to send it to China for service... or pay to have it fixed himself (likely no more expensive, and quicker).

Wow I think he needs to get a life
I would think that if the engine had been
Damaged it was either dropped or some how damaged either way it sounds like it needs some repair
Work . Or he's having a good time
Pulling someone's chain

Sorry Joe. I probably ran him off, but I doubt he would have responded anyway. That post smelled like BS immediately.

On the other hand, like Al said, he could have just been googling stuff and found this thread when he had issues with his RCG engine from HK and joined RCU to complain about it. Do they have a 30 twin?

I just checked. They do have one, so that may be the case. Oh well, maybe he'll learn they're different and to not buy from HK.

Hi Guys,

Not a problem… like in the early days I don't like to see anyone having problems with a motor. HK does have a 30T but I am not sure where it comes from. It has caused enough problems that the factory has asked me to offer service to the HK 30T owners at a fee to help them out…. I the past when I have done that a lot of my RCGF parts will not fit the HK RCG engines...

I am off to Toledo at 5:00 a.m. in the morning… Later...

They advertise them as RCG, but they do look identical. Even the CDI has the same label on them (not the red head shrink though). At the base of the cylinder head the HK engines actually say RCGF! I read a rumor a long time ago that HK motors use either out dated parts or parts that failed a QC inspection. Not sure where that theory came from and if it's true or not.

I am located in Toronto,Canada. The engine I bought from HobbyKing in China.Parts I did order from RCGF USA.I did change the Chines bearings to Japanese.I did contact to customer service in China, they did send me the parts but I paid for shipping.Right now I have a problem with ignition but I did order from RCGF USA including tachometer. From previous engine I have only crankcase. This engine cost me a lot of money at work.
