Larry,
Great work! I like the cockpit detail and pilot. Are the switches on the dashboard functional? An how about the stick? Does it move? Do I see the corner of the fuel tank peeking up through the floor? What size tank did you install? My tanks are mounted on CG precluding the cockpit from extending below the bottom of the dashboard. I have not yet built or purchased a cowl for my bird. I am very happy to see how the carb will extend out in your pictures.
To get my J3 Cub gear to fit on mine I have the wing opened back up to install support for the blind nuts. The closer one gets to being done the further it seems to get.

What's that old saying about "..is in the detail"?
Even though the plans called for a 20 oz tank, which I bought, I switched to a 17in square tank from Grubner (I think). The tank does not stick out into the optional cockpit kit I installed. I'm playing around with some prints from the computer to see what looks more like carpet. The stick and switches are all static at this point. If you plan on building a cowl I'd love to follow your work. My kit (an old one I picked up from a friend) had a plastic cowl. I was worried about the heat but everyone I talked to says not to worry there's plenty of ventilation.
