Yak 54 vs. Sukhoi
I'd love to hear your comparisson between these two giant scale 3d airplanes - Sukhoi and Yak 54 (89' wingspan and up, 50-100cc).
and which one is easier to fly, and better 3d.

Choose which color scheme you prefer and buy that.
This advice from BarracudaHockey is probably the best given.
Meaning pick your favorite plane. All of the models from Red Aero, Pilot RC, Extreme Flight, Aeroworks and others fly pretty well.

RE: Yak 54 vs. Sukhoi
Just about any of the current crop of aerobatic airplanes from Pilot, Aeroworks, EF, red and the like are all going to pretty much fly the same. The wheel has already been invented. Look for price Vs quality and make the choice. Too many times somone will live with a poor flying airplane thinking it's just that particular design that has issues. Truth is if you take the time to learn and understand why our airplanes do what they do, you can make adjustments to get it to fly just the way you want.

RE: Yak 54 vs. Sukhoi
If you are just stepping into this category, you wont be able to tell if an Aeroworks Yak is better than an EF Extra or vice versa.
The entire outfit selected and set up will dictate the actual flight enjoyment. just stay away from new ebay or generic cheap airframes

I am considering buying the PAU Sukhoi.
Beautiful airplane....
But, it's a pretty old design... been around for a long time.
Do you think it's flying qualities are up to the current standards of the Extras, Edges, Yaks, etc.?
And how about the kit quality.... any concerns?
