If I didn't have 1-new 100cc plane and 2-80cc planes new in boxes, (not to mention the numerous of other new in box planes)
I would pick this one up!....
I will miss it though!...

RE: Extreme Flight 110" 100cc Yak 54 Build!
Hey
Can someone tell me what kind of powerbox would be the best for this model ?
I have had a look on Emcotec, but I am confused about which to choose? I have also had a look on the Powerbox Evolution? But Emcotec or Powerbox?
Best regards
Kristian

This is the one I use, they make really nice systems. The new twin mini is really nice if you use 2 receivers.
DPSI RV Mini 5
Battery Switch (Dual Power Supply) for 5/6 cell NiCad/NiMH, as well as LiIon/LiPo batteries (e.g. LONGGO)
Regulated output voltage for receiver and servos (from 5.0 volts up to 5.9 volts, adjustable in 4 steps)
Current distribution of 5 receiver channels to 8 servos (additional servos directly connectable to receiver)
Intelligent voltage monitoring including optically and acoustically error indication
Suitable to all battery types due to low drop out technology
The used battery type can easily be programmed (and therefore the correct low voltage detection)
Delivery includes switch actuator, MPX high current connectors, 5 patch cables, operation instructions

Last weekend I did the maiden on my yak, today I did flight 2 and 3. It's already feeling very good!
I hope to get you some vids very soon!
@Katana mini freak:
I'm using a dspi mini 6, I guess this is the best one for you to, it has the same price as the 5 but you have 1 more channel.
Some teaser pics:

what offset set is being used for rudder servo arm.i see (fh) used the 4 then had to add on carbon extentsions to solve the pull/pull control wire slop.

Here's a video from a couple days ago. Quality isn't very good because of overcast and windy conditions. Better video should be done soon!!!

Check out my first video with the EF 110" Yak. This is a video of the first time that I did 3Dflight with the yak, First hovers, first torque roll etc
Nothing special, just some basic 3D flying. I still have to make my headers a little bit shorter for max power. And I need a little bit of throttle curve to get the engine stable for hovers and torque.
Soon I''ll make a better video, but I guess this is a good teaser ;-)

Yeah I am, in the video it was the first time 3d''ing with it ... 9th flight.
It's really a super plane. It will be perfect for the upcoming season! First competition in a few weeks.
It flies much more stable in harriers then the planes I used to fly, also the KE is soooo slow, never saw this before.
I was flying a borrowed DA 100 because my friends extra wasn''t finished yet, but I did the first flights with the engine for him ;-) .
Now I have to wait for my new DA, normally I''ll have it next week. Then I can start the real flying ;-)

WOW[sm=spinnyeyes.gif][sm=thumbup.gif]
I will be placing this on my wish list for next year!.....
That plane makes me giddy!...
If I could I would box all my unassembled planes up and get this one..... BUt that isn''t going to happen.[sm=cry_smile.gif]
I will just have to wait.....
I will have to take my subscription away from this one because I just makes me sick that
I am not going to have this plane anytime soon....
A great flying plane!.....

Hey,
I really like the bottom scheme of it more then the top. Im really attached to my red, wht, blk, silver. I have the 88" the 74",that Im putting the Brillelli 46gt into right now. And I think I would go for the same scheme again. Man I wish I was rich instead of so good lookin!!HAHAHA!!!

RE: Extreme Flight 110" 100cc Yak 54 Build!
i really want to see it in this 110 size and then i will decide...
my wife just left for a week to go to pa to visit her parents, too bad i cant order it and get it within that week, then i could hide it in the garage for a couple months and warm her up to the idea of having it
i posted the same thing on the extra 88" thread...chris is going to get me in trouble one of these days
