Default 4-40 Turnbuckles

Where can I find 4-40 turnbuckles that are around 5" long.
Dubro sells some at 2 1/2", but I need longer ones.

Somewhere I saw a site that sold turnbuckles in all different lengths & sizes, but I can't find it again when I need them!!

Where do you "Giant" guys get longer turnbuckles?
Do you just use threaded rods?? Wouldn't threaded rod be weaker than real turnbuckles (as well as not being as convienient?

I'm building my first 30cc plane, so there is much I have to learn....
Thanks!
Don

BoBH is right. No way there is a need for 5" turnbuckles on a 30cc plane (or any RC plane for that matter. I'm guessing you really want Hangar 9 Titanium Pro Links.

Right.... I guess "Turnbuckle" was the wrong term.
Hanger 9's Pro Links are what I need.....

But, damn.... $13 for a pair of 4-40 "pushrods"..... sticker shock with these gassers!!!

I believe that SWB sells them as well and go out to 6 inches where the Pro-Links stop at 5". They are expensive because they are Titanium and with the opposite threaded ends, are just the ticket for adjusting the mechanical linkage.

Or you can just make your own with threaded rod, carbon fiber tubing and a couple of 4-40 nuts. You won't have the reverse threads on one end but you may have a stiffer pushrod when completed ... at a lower cost. You can also make them any length you want.

I like the Hanger 9 Pro Links or similar products from other vendors and use them from time to time but more often, I just make my own.
