Sold them. I get to a point on a plane that I can't strip it down if a mistake is made. So it is easier just easier to sell it an start over. The more and more you do one of these the faster it goes. An you pick up new ideas along the way as well.

Adrian_CH, I also have this aircraft. How did you discover this problem? Were the flap wells not covered over on your plane? My wings seem pretty solid but would be hard to check because my flap wells are sealed in. Is it just in this area and is it on both wings?
Hope you have luck with Tommy and get what you need. What was wrong with your rudder? Did it delaminate or something? Steve Mullis

Hy Steve,
It is in both Wings the same, the "Ribs" in the Wing are almost without gluecontact, the same in the Rudder,it was not possible to glue the Hinges in the Rudder because there is more Air than Wood inside :-(.

I think it is a Monday Plane.

Did you drop the wing? I never had any problems with wings, rudder, etc unless it was dropped on the leading edge. Then you may have a split and crack. Did you purposely open up the wing from the back. If you phobe Tommy I am sure he will pick up. I just talked to him the other day.

TSHARK how can you be expecting another one in Mid November! I am still waiting for mine and we are going on 18 months. I have been emailing him with no response. Are you phoning him or communicating by email?

can you please help me out as I have paid for over half of it and I think I may have been duped here. How is everyone else getting there's before I get mine?

thanks,
corinne

Hello parrot
Well 18 months is way way to long. Something must have happened to your order. Did you order from Tommy directly or go through someone like austra models. With the exception of the first plane I got, I have always called Tommy direct. I then follow up with an email as well. Tommy told me mid november as he had 4 others ahead of me plus the newer designed kit was or is now in production. I just talked to Tommy about 2 days ago and got an email yesterday morning. I am sure if you send him an email he will answer.

Hi George, I ordered thru Austars but paid Tommy direct - $1400 as a deposit thru his Paypal. Yes I know that's silly and a lot of deposit but the Australian dollar was good at the time ( now it has dropped heaps)

I am really concerned as its a lot of money to loose not to mention all the money I have spent on stuff for it.

I have emailed twice last week and today as well with no response. I will try to call him tonight.

has anyone else received one in the last year? He always says mine is next when he does respond.

Ok I called him on his mobile and spoke to him. He said he is doing something with the scale detail and it will be a few weeks, ahhh believe it when I see a photo. Fingers crossed.

Hey Hank,

So glad you enjoyed it. If you're laid up and bored, there is a ton of cool RC content on my channel you can watch. Some of my RC truck videos are crazy realistic too. Also don't forget to watch the Cessna video that got me interested in this plane by Mario, check out the interior of his plane with the scale money etc. so cool. I'll post it below.
So why are you in the hospital? Hope you get well soon.

Dan

You should have gone directly through TMMY instead of Austars. Anyway, just keep emailing him and remind him how long you have been waiting. Ask him to email some pictures of the plane so you can see the progress.

Does Austars do anything for you? Does the plane ship to them or you?
