I'm good with that. I really enjoy cutting my own kit. Do you have a staples or kinkos nearby? Would be easier for you to just send a copy? Of course only once I sent you the cost of copy and shipping. I'll go check out your build on the other site.

I'll check with some of the guys here that still build (not many of us) - seems the blueprint place is supposed to be cheaper. I'll get back to you tomorrow or Wed. Did you ever think about the GMS 76???

I need to go smell some nitro..... Been on a binge. Have bought 6 engines in the last month. Already have 31 new ones in the box and 22 used ones. Did buy 3 OS46 engines brand new. One came with a aluminum spinner and 4 props. Paid 65 bucks a piece for them. Engines on eBay have gotten cheap. Everyone's going to gassers. l LOVE IT !!!!!!!

Got a question about AMA competition engine size limits in the 6o's and 70's. Was talking to some classic pattern guys, and we all agreed that for a long time the displacement limit on US pattern planes was .61. However, I seem to recall that for single engine scale planes, there was a limit of 0.80, but could pin it down to a time period. In the late 70's, I had several OS Max 80's, and still have one in working condition. Does anyone remember the displacement limits on single engine scale in the 1960-1990 range?

We'll, I finally went through the pages of glow and figured out who gets what number. I still need to now type it all in to my iPad so I can update it when someone new joins. For now, I'll just type out the one who haven't got a number yet. If I miss someone, or mis-spell your name, just let me know.

by the by fella's, thanks to all for your help figuring out what my mystery .52 was, tiger shark. Iv'e torn it down and everything looks pretty good, clean. it's obviously been run some , but it had an old idle bar plug of some kind and two plug washers. the liner and piston look pretty good but when I took the backplate off I saw a whole lot of remnants of old burnt castor oil. I think thats what it is any way . not to rusty at all. I notice there was some crank play at tdc, when rotating the crank back and forth. this thing gets pretty tight at the top of it's stroke and I noticed that while the piston remained stationary, that the play I was feeling beforehand was actually in the rod bushing where it rides on the crankpin... not a lot, but for sure more than I've seen on any of my other two strokes.
my question is, do you guys think it's safe to run this engine this way, from a mechanical stand point. in other words , is this common in the older chinese knockoffs, or will this be taken up by load from the prop while it's running? ain't got but $5 in this thing , so its not that big a deal if I never run it or throw it in the trash. thanks
