According to the reviews I could find the OS 200-P is a very smooth engine, I also asked an intelligent question that relates directly to big engine shakes. Keeping them below 8,000 rpm is important. Also you need to get the low speed needle set correctly both for a smooth midrange and for economy.
One more thing, how solid is your test stand, if not very solid you are seeing tortional impulses and not vibration. They are the result of a light weight engine coupled with strong power pulses. A heavier prop will help with this.

Thank you, Hobbsy.
What prop should I use? I'm using a 18x6W APC.
My fuel is: 10% nitro, 18% synthetic oil Klotz 200.
I'm waiting for your answer
Thanks again

At 6,000 rpm
OS 56 Alpha modified with rear vent as the OS factory has done to the OS 56 Alpha II, this engine when side mounted surged big time nearly quitting, then blowing a cloud of white smoke revving back up and then repeat.
This is the O.S. Engines FSA-56II Four Stroke Engine with the F-4040 Silencer.
FEATURESBlow-by oil exits through the breather nipple on back plate for more
stable operation
Black rocker cover
40NA carburetor
OS Alpha 56 2.5 hours total run time
Fuel====Wildcat 10% with 18% full synthetic
Prop====Graupner 13 x 6 G-Sonic
Plug====OS-f
Exhaust==Stock
Max rpm peaked==10,230, one click leaner and it slowed about 50 rpm.
Idle 2,070, very smooth
Transition=clean and quick.

Nice numbers Dave.
If anyone is interested, I’m selling some of my OS engines. I have a well used 15III steel fin, low time 25LA, 25FSR with nearly new piston and liner (with good spare old p/l) - about 1 hr runtime on new P/L, plus a new Davis Diesel head as well. 60FSR ringed with new Boca bearings and Bowman ring - no runtime since rebuild. Formerly a Perry lumped and Perry carb engine. Perry carb was damaged, so I found a 7B carb for it instead. If anyone is interested, send a PM. Need to finance a new r/c project.

Seems these engines are all real similar to each other in terms of power despite some 20+ years difference in design and release.

I probably mentioned this before, doing a comparo I did running a Saito 56, an Enya 53 TN and an OS 52 turning a Graupner 12 x 6, 300 rpm separated them in the exact order of their displacement.

I pulled the 62V out of the box today during lunch and I have a 13x6 APC strapped to it. I HOPE to get runs of the a56 and 62V done tonight with both FAI and 15% and a 13x6. At minimum I will get an FAI run done on the a56 and 62V both with a 13x6.

Nice run, and a way good idle. I just ran mine for 30 minutes using a Xoar 12 x 6 and as expected the max rpm was lower than the Graupner 13 x 6. The Graupner G-Sonics are revers, I don't know if that's good or bad.
Lowest idle 2,400, I blame the Xoar, too light.

Thanks David, I watched those yesterday with great interest. I have my older Saito 56 in the PSP as we speak with a Grauoner G-Sonic 12 x 6. It will probably over rev, but we'll see. I'l do the same with mu OS 56 A

You would need a second mortgage anyway. Our popular hobby retailer wants $210 for an AX .46 and $110 CDN for a piston liner. An LA .15 is $150 now. Both are fine motors, but...
