Hi There,
I mentioned earlier that I had almost completed a 1/4 Bentley BR 2 Aircraft engine, I am happy to report that the project is now complete and the engine runs very well with the Lew Blackmore Prop (plans). Engine runs on unleaded petrol and castor oil Castrol R 30 (which sprays over the operator as it is running). In spite of difficulties of the L.B. book I am more than pleased with the result. I have no plans to mount in an aircraft, it is bench run for display purposes only. I have the bentley drawings from ageless they are third scale. I started doing 3D cad on them before building one. waiting to get my digital scans back as theres 230 pages little larger than my desktop scanner so I had a company scan them to cd for me so I have a paper copy and a backup on cd
