Me too. I'm moving along very slowly right now with work and other obligations. Plus, I'm kind of getting to a point where I need the landing gear to continue so I'm not in a Hugh hurry. Once the gear comes next week I'll be able to pick up the pace a touch.

In case anyone is wondering, I haven't given up on the Mr. M. Not by any means. I'm just really focusing my effort on getting a previous build flight ready. I'm really trying to be done for a maiden this weekend, but only time will tell. If someone can call my wife and tell her to quit adding to the honey do list would really help a lot. LOL. I should be back to it soon. Real soon.

It may be a list, but it's a pretty long one. I'll be surprised if it flies this weekend. I didn't realize how many little things were left. I'm not rushing it though. It's already been probably two years since I started this project, so what's one more week. You'll get there too. Your making good forward progress.

How about a multi volume set? A course a lot on my list is my own stuff.
Dang it how come a 1 hour project ends up taking one halve a day. Time I finish that job 2 more got added.
And then next month is filled with doctor visits, those suck insane amounts of time. Some visits are mine some the wife and some our room mate. I am the only driver.

Hey Steve, welcome to the Two Year Club! My first project took 2-1/2 years. But then I was learning and trying things as I went along. I hope to get back on my Stinson soon, that is as soon as I finish repairing my Ultimate and the OT at work stops.

As for Honey Do's... What's a "Honey Do List"? The only list I have is the one I make up. My honey don't tell me to do NUTTIN'! No, seriously, she doesn't. It's wonderful!

Work can now commence on the Mr. M. The other project is pretty much wrapped up and ready to maiden. Sorry for starting on this and then putting it on hold like that. I should have just waited to start but...I'll get the bench cleaned off then try to remember where the heck I was with this one.

So today will be a shop cleaning / possibly flying day, then it's head first back into the Mulligan. Maiden flights went perfectly with the Rearwin Speedster. I now have 8 flights with it so that can finally come off of the active bench and take it's new place on the old bench where it will live while earth bound. Back on the active is good ol Mr M. Yippee! Feels good to get back to it, now if I can only remember what I was doing when I left off. Lol.

You know what Steve, someone once told me it's a hobby, not a job with a project that HAS to be completed by X date. Enjoy, we'll all be here waiting.... impatiently. Now HURRY UP AND GET BUILDING!!!!!

My kind of deadline! Remember what Douglas Adams use to say about deadlines: "I love deadlines! I love the sound they make as they go flying by!"

Its the Nosen Mulligan curse !

Actually I have a friend building one in his version from the Nosen outlines. He likes foam core wings with a fast airfoil.. And he makes the fuses from ply and foam. However he is not online..doesn't take pictures and ITS BEEN AGES since I drove to his shop...

I will take pictures when I make it over.
Also he will probably build a jig to knock out a new fuse sides I imagine...

Boy it feels good to have that last project completed and behind me and to be working on this one again. First order of buisness is to remove the four formers at the aft of the fuse. I started on the bottom stringers last night but really don't like the way they fit. The new ones will take a bit of tweaking to get the straight lines I'm after. It's not too big of a set back. It shouldn't take too long to make up the new ones and glue them in.also, I sent out an email to TNT for a price on the landing gear. Should get that ordered this coming week. It won't be long before I get to a point where I need them to continue on the fuse, but for now, there's still plenty I can do.
