Update;
Its official. No more building for a couple weeks. I just finished with the last truck load of tools, building materials, and planes with exception of two.I kept my BUSA 1/4 cub and Top Flite mustang in case I happen upon an hour or two that I can fly. I think I need it for sanity sake. As for the new work bench, I just acquired a solid oak door that measures 81 x 42. HEAVY!. its gotta be 300 lbs. I was hoping to build the new shop before moving all that stuff but wasn't possible. Soon my ordeal will be over and business as usual.

Yeah, me too. I am NOT nearly done moving, just done moving my shop. I still have the whole rest of the house to move. my wife and I have been quite busy packing and organizing stuff so that we can rent a UHaul truck and get it all in one shot. that will be not this weekend but next weekend. it's quite a relief though to be done with the shop. I had a real lot of stuff. you don't realize how much you actually have until you have to move it all.

Hi Steve
I have enjoyed your thread about building the Mr. Mulligan. Sounds like you are having allot of fun with this project. FWIW a friend locally has one and he tried flying his with a 30 cc gasser and it wasn't enough power. He ended up installing a 50cc gasser and has the power he needs to fly the Mulligan in a scale manner.
I myself have had the privilege of working on a Howard DGA 15 that belonged to a friend who was restoring it. It is truly a magnificent plane and to ride in one is kind of like riding in an late 60's Chrysler Imperial. A very solid feeling in the air with a 450 hp. Pratt & Whitney up front
Good luck with the move and hope to see you here building again soon!

Hey Carlos. Thanks for following along. Yes it is one heck of an airplane. I'm envious of you. I'd sure love to see one up close, let alone fly in one. The move is coming along, but still a lot to do in a short time. Hopefully a couple more weeks and I'll be back at it.

Landing gear showed up today. Man, I'm kind of doubting myself here as to the dimensions I ordered. This thing is Hugh. And heavy. My scale is packed away in one of many, many boxes at the new place so I can't weigh it, but if I had to venture a guess, I'd say close to 2#. Half the dimensions came from the plans, some from guys in this thread, and some were a guess. All I know is there big. Hopefully they work out. I don't want to have to pay twice for this too. If anyone reading along has one and could give my measurements to check against, that would be great, but I think I asked that before I ordered and got no response.

I hope so. No on the tube. I haven't ordered it yet. Don't know what I'm waiting for other than at this point I don't really need it yet. I'll order it soon. I can't wait to get the shop set up so I can see her on her new set of legs. It will still be a while yet. I may just work off the pool table until the new shop is built because it will be a little while as I have a few walls to frame and Sheetrock and a couple of doors to hang. Plus two benches to build along with the peg board and various shelvs. It's exciting being able to build a brand new shop. I know ace knows the feeling. You still out there ace?
