I see in several posts that folks have had vinyl deals cut for the WACO. Any one tell me where I can get a set for mine? I sent out a couple of PM'S to people that have had them made but got no response.

Callie Graphics would likely be your best bet.

+1 on Callie Graphics.

I have my own cutter and software and still use her quite a bit.

mrdhud, it will be some time before the build starts in full. I need to take my wife on a holiday and find a full size Waco that i can crawl all over and take plenty of pics. Also i need to make another set of undercart while i have the set from my other Waco at the machinist. When this is done i also need to paint the new fibre fairings and get my old girl back in air. It will be xmas before the new build gets under way!
Regards tmac48

Phoenix Models Review model that I did some custom graphics on, Callie did the Waco logo. I re-did all the peel and stick arrows, pin stripes and N number along with the AMA's 800 number.

If you're not on Facebook its with great regret to inform you that Bill (Stickbuilder) passed away peacefully tonight (6/23) in hospice with his family at his side.

I had dinner with him and Janelle the first time I covered Top Gun, he spent close to two hours explaining the event, scale judging and more. That was in 2009. It was great making his friendship that year and I always looked forward to speaking with him each year.

Fair winds brother.

It is a long way from Australia to America but it always felt that he was right next door through this Waco Brotherhood.
My condolences to his family.

This was on Bill's and his family's facebook page, not a Waco thread.

Default The show must go on

Hello everyone, this is Bill's grandson. I told him I would swing by here and let everyone know but it looks like the news is out.

My daddo loved this forum and the camaraderie that came with it. He's told me about it for years and every time I'd see him I would ask "how many pages does the waco forum have now?"

It is truly impressive how long this thing has been going on. My grandfather was the smartest man I've ever met and I wish I had just a thimble full of the knowledge he forgot in a week. Luckily he's left 12 years worth of wisdom right here on this website.

He had one last waco on his bench and left it up to me to get it finished. I will be around here when the time comes start on it because I know that you guys know a lot of what I need to know but nobody will ever know as much as him.

Gratefully,
Casey, AMA 4720

Sorry to hear of Bill's passing.

I had the good fortune to meet Bill at Monster Planes and have him spot for me. for a few flights.
A great wealth of information and a really nice gentleman.

My condolences to his family.

Dave.

Hello all the maiden flight went vary well today. The EME 70 twin engine has all the power you need most of the flight was at half throttle. After landing we made a few radio adjustments so the second flight went much better then the rains came so only two flight today. Hope to fly her again next weekend.
