To bad about the wind. That sure is a good looking rig you have to hall your Waco in. Better luck next time out.

Hi Tmac,
nice pics. I am just in the course of cleaning up my work shop after making the last batch of kits. Close to get the prototype made but will not be airborne until spring next year. Currently we have 2° degrees to cold for me to fly.

Hello all

Well, I took delivery of the new phoenix model 1/4 scale Waco from tower hobbies. I want to break it out of the box big time but have to finish up a few projects first. My plan is to scale it out some and possibly doing a different paint scheme I won't know until I unpack it and see what I have to work with. Hopefully I'll be caught up in a couple week. It's not a scratch build but it is a Waco.

OK, we had a real interesting day at our local club field, WIND, RAIN, THUNDER. AND, LIGHTNIG!!!!!!
Sorry about the poor vid but only the two of us braved the weather and we only had the IPhone to take pics. If you can watch till the end you will hear a particular loud clap of thunder and lightning that nearly caused my photographer to drop EVERY THING !! Hopefully next time out it will be better weather and will indever to have a proper vid done.

Peter,

I "doinked" my 33% Barth Waco on landing and could use some replacement fiberglass parts. Could repair most of it but we lost the little cheek piece that goes on the inside of the wheel pants where the landing gear meets the wheel pants.

Do you know if there are any fiberglass replacement parts available in the states or anywhere?

Thanks again!
Tom

Thanks Peter!

We seem to have lost the little wheelpant cheek piece on the inside of the right (starboard) landing gear wheel pant so we would like to buy one of those.

Just wondering while I have you........Can we also purchase wing tubes from you? They are an unusual metric size as I recall and the only availability for tubing in those sizes require purchases of fairly large quantities from China. I have been using slightly undersized tubes with heat shrink tubing. They work but I would prefer the correct sized tubes if they are available.

Let me know how much we owe ya and how best to get you the money.

Thanks again Peter!!!!

Tom
