AXE CP Receiver connections???? Help!
Hey all,
I'm new to this and just got an Axe CP RTR, used without the servos. I got the servos in, but have no idea which one plugs into which connection on the receiver. I'm not even sure if the ESC is plugged into the right one. Can anyone break down the connections and what they are used for? I didn't get a whole lot for directions or a breakdown of what goes where, so any help would be great.
Thanks.
Ryan

On this picture, the receiver is mounted to the Axe upside down. Mine has the plugs towards the front of the heli.
If you look really close, you will see they are labeled 1 through 6 from top to bottom. (not in the photo, but looking at your receiver) To hook up your servos and ESC:
Slot 1- Aileron- Goes to the servo on the heli's right
Slot 2- Elevator- Goes to the servo in front
slot 3- Throttle- Goes to the ESC or 3-1 board
slot 4- rudder- Goes to the tail or the orange wire going to the 3-1
slot 5- Gear- or gyro- unused in the Axe radio
slot 6- flaps- Goes to the servo on the heli's left.
Slot 5 and 6 might have different names for Heli radios, but the idea is the same.
Hope this helps, don't forget to check the direction, or movement of your servos and reverse them as necessary. I hear some Hitec servos move in opposite directions as the OEM Axe servos.

Thanks Pilot. I am assuming when you say right and left, you are looking at the front of the bird, right being the "drivers side" and left the co-pilot. Again, I'm sorry for the rookie questions. I've already shredded a set of blades and would like to avoid that again. I'm in Baghdad and it takes 3 weeks for spare parts to get here.
Thanks again, and please let me know about the right-left thing.

Nope, its as if you are sitting in the heli. Right is the passenger seat. Left is the driver seat in US. As if you are sitting in the heli.

You'd have to use the Spektrum receiver, AR6100 or AR7000. Plug the BINDING PLUG into the BAT terminal on the RX, press & hold the BIND BUTTON on the back of the TX while turning ON the TX, now turn ON or plug in the power to the RX, (if your using an ESC or 3in1 to power your RX, be sure to unplug the Main motor & tail motor leads to keep rotors from spinning), LED on RX will flash then go solid, when it's solid TX & RX are bound.
