Firmware v 1.04
Mike,
I understand that the new digitals are shipping with v 1.04. I'm wondering how 1.04 differs from 1.03 and whether I can safely mix v 1.03 and 1.04 servos in the same installation. Specifically I have a NIB 5945 with v 1.03 that I was going to use on one elevator and I have a new 5945 shipping (I assume it will have the 1.04 upgrade) that I want to use on the other elevator. Will they match up OK?

This should not be a problem, unless you want to use them on a wye. However the new revison v1.04 has an updated digital amplifier that was implemented to increase servo performance. While its not absolutely required I would if possible match the servos firmware for matched surface controls.
