Best Engine under $200
I have a Savage 25 and like the engine...but I need more power. I real like the 25 engine because it is easy to tune and fun to run. So Im looking for a better engine under $200 and here are my peferred perferances.
1. Can use roto start
2. As easy to tune and operate as the 25.
3. Easy to rebuild and or replacement program.
4. Bolts in with little modification.
5. Works well with SS pipe and header and motor savers airfilter.
6. Has a long life span. ( Please tell me # of gallons you have put yours through)
7. Above all makes more power than stock engine!
Thanks a lot I would also like to know a good place to get what every engine you guys recomend. Thanks

RE: Best Engine under $200
The .28 Wasp hasn't been released yet so it's hard to tell what's up with it. The .26 Wasp is a popular engine but I'm not as happy with mine as I thought I would be. I'm going to start a thread on it once I get through break in but I'll give you a little preview. My stock .21 motor mount had to be Dremeled, I had to Dremel a slot in my chassis for the flywheel, the carb is WAY off, & my pullstart broke in 2 places. I spent over an hour trying to run my 1st tank at idle & didn't make it through the 1st half of the tank. On the plus side... With full brake applied at startup it had enough power to overcome the brake & shower me with grass from all 4 wheels & didn't sound like it revd more than 1/3 throttle.
