needs for my savage
im plannin to get a new engine prolly a wasp .28 after reviews and if its got bad reviews ill get wasp .26 or picco
well thats not the question tho
im not jus gonna put the engine in when i get it
im gonna get mugen flywheel and shoes
i already got good spurgear
what else shood i change b4 puttn the engine?

get the spider mod you will need it if you get a new engine.Maybe the dirt bonz etc. if you drive a lot on asphalt. A new pipe (for example the hpi ribbed tuned pipe. and a off road air filter if you don't got one. By the way i think you should go with the picco cause it got all thee power you need and it is a high quality engine

well i have a pipe and air filter(not the stock ones) and i will be doin the spider mod and why dont u like the wasp 28

The pipe and filter will really wake up either engine you choose. I have the Picco Outlaw .26 and like it so much I bought another as a just in case. Do the 4-gear diff mod using the 20mm machine screws to button up the diff - do it before running the engine. I would also recommend getting the Nova aluminum clutch shoes to go with the Mugen clutch - that's what I have. Use a standard plastic spur - do not get a steel one. Tighten the slipper nut all the way down and use blue loc-tite on the nut. Buy some CV axles and get center drive universals to re-inforce the drivetrain.

also throw in a nice pipe maybe shocks a motoer saver but most of all get the xtm pro its a good engine i have it here are some pics of it in my savage
