Default HPI big bore shocks

hi i was wondering if these are good shocks? and also do they bolt up to where the original stocks shocks go? its a savage 21 if that makes any difference. thanks

they bolt right on the orginals go in your pit box

you could and yeah they fit in the originals spot but I would just change the oil weight and get differnt springs to suit what you need

will save you the cash to buy something else

yeah i agree, i run 30wt and black springs and i like that with 7k diff oil while where talking about set ups i also run on the lowest ground cleance setting with a preload clip on 4 of the shocks so of the 2 shocks per wheel one has preload, but i may try a higher mount...

i have the stock oil weight in my shocks but purple springs

should probably change out the oil though must be getting pretty old

those wont even fit will they? there for a baja and think there different

the shocks on the savage x are 14.4 x 117 x 1.4mm x 26 coils

like i said i'll make um fit i can always cut a strip out of the side to shorten up the radius and CA it back together then silicone in to the body and that little rubber thingy thats right about the spring cup so you don't destroy your shocks when you bottom out
