Default Rookie Bulding a TF P-51B

Get right to it! I just recived a TF P-51 Gold kit with a B mod kit. It also came with a OS75, Pitt's muffler, 3004 servos and Hanger 9 P-51 blue nose retracts. I have built a few ARF and re-built a TF P-47 after a crash. I know I can built this kit. I just need some info on installing the retracts and any other bits of info with the B mod kit. Thanks!

Hey Exracer,
I did the same thing with the mod kit. Just follow the instructions and it will be a piece of cake.

For those retracts you'll have to build a hatch to make room for the servos.

If you DL the Bluenose manual, you'll see the hatch

Hi Guys,
I've done the T.F. "D" to "B" conversion too...and its not that difficult. While you have the top off the model...install your tail wheel retract and to my surprise, this was not that difficult either...a pain in the butt at times, but doable. It was a fun mod and I had something very different at the field to fly. You could hardly tell that the tail wheel retracted into the fuse, but the cool factor was way up with this installed.
